I am currently a Father of two wonderful boys and a Data Analyst for FirstEnergy. 

In my current role as a Data Analyst at FirstEnergy, I acquire, clean, and analyze databases using Python, SQL, AI Agents, and the Power Platform to support enterprise analytics, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. I have led cross-functional projects that delivered millions of dollars in cost savings, improved compliance outcomes, and increased trust in analytics through governed data pipelines and executive-facing Power BI dashboards. My work focuses on ensuring data quality, reducing barriers to insights, and enabling leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions.
I hold a Master of Science in Mathematics, with advanced training in statistical modeling, forecasting, and exploratory data analysis. 

During the Summer of 2023, I worked as a Data Analytics Intern Remotely for the Safety and Human Performance team at FirstEnergy. I gained and added to my proficiency with Python, R, Power BI, Excel, ArcGIS, and SQL by creating data mining and predictive modeling software as well as creating visual dashboards to better inform state analysts of incident data, field verifications of critical controls, and safety question frequency analytics. 

As a Master's in Mathematics student at Emporia State University, I have discovered a love for data science and programming. Taking coursework that covered programming languages such as R, Python, and SAS in extensive detail, I learned how to clean large data sets, create predictive models, and use a wide variety of statistical analysis tools. 

I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor's in Mathematics Education in 2017 and have been teaching ever since. During my tenure as a high school teacher, I have grown my communication skills by teaching many advanced topics such as Statistics, Calculus, and Finance to the most stubborn individuals known to man... Teenagers. That is not all, however. Being the data coach for my high school made me an expert with Data cleaning tools such as Excel, R, and Stata, which were used to achieve grants of close to $500,000 for the school.
